2012 T-QUAL Grants - Tourism Quality Projects

Federal Member for Hume, Alby Schultz MP is pleased to announce that the 2012 round of the T-QUAL Grants – Tourism Quality Projects program opened this week.
“I am pleased to announce Minister for Resources and Energy and Minister for Tourism, the Hon Martin Ferguson has advised me the 2012 Tourism Quality Projects funding program has opened and I encourage all local tourism operators to apply for funding which closes on the 19th April 2012” Alby said.
“Tourism Quality Projects grants are part of the Australian Government’s Tourism 2020 strategy and provide matched funding on a dollar-for-dollar principle for amounts between $15,000 and $100,000 which will boost the quality and competitiveness of tourism in town centres such as Cootamundra, Cowra, Crookwell, Goulburn, Grenfell, Picton, Yass and Young within the Hume electorate” Alby said.
“Information on how to apply and information on grants recipients in the 2011 round may be found at www.ret.gov.au/tqual or alternatively, I encourage all interested parties to contact my electorate offices in Goulburn, Cowra or Cootamundra for more information” Alby concluded.
